GENERAL INFORMATION

Nottingham Forest Homeowners Association works to provide a safe, attractive and fun pool complex for the use of the homeowners and their invited guests. The pool complex consists of a large pool appx 40’x70’ with a depth of 3’6” to 4’2”, NO DIVING; a baby pool appx 15’x25’ and 11”deep; a large pool deck with cabana; a pool house with a common area, courtesy/emergency phone and showers. Vending machines are also available.

Extra measures have been taken to ensure the safety of the patrons as well as the staff.

A security code is required at the gate for entry into the pool facility.

    Codes are sent out by email to all residents who are subscribed to the e-newsletter.

    Memorial weekend thru Labor Day weekend

    Monday through Saturday: 11am-9pm
    Sundays: 12pm - 9pm
    Effective the 1st full day of school in Blue Valley in August:
    Friday 4-9pm
    Saturday 11am - 9pm
    Sunday 12pm - 9pm


    Baby pool is not attended by lifeguard.
  • Staffing
    One lifeguard and one attending lifeguard will be on duty at all times.
  • Swim Lessons
    Private and group lessons are available thru the pool Management Company and lifeguards.

  • Weather
    Pool management reserves the right to close the pool due to inclement weather and health reasons. The pool will not re-open for the rest of the day or evening following the cessation of such weather.

  • Safety/Adult Swim Break
    Every hour the pool will be cleared of all swimmers under the age of 18 for 10 minutes. During this break there will be NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. All patrons under 18 years of age must be at least 2 feet from the edge of the pool. Adults may swim at their own risk    .

  • Baby Pool
    The supervision and safeguard of users of the Baby Pool shall be the responsibility of the parents or care provider of the children using the Baby Pool. NFHA or the pool management company shall not be responsible for any injury or loss resulting from use of the Baby Pool.

  • Private Pool Parties

    To schedule a private pool party and reserve the pool cabana contact the Nottingham Forest Homes Association, phone 685-1996. Leave name, number, date, time of party, and number of guests and someone will call you back to confirm.
    • There is a $100 deposit required for all parties, refundable after cleanup.
    • All parties must be held within the official pool open season.
    • Anyone reserving the pool for a party is entitled to exclusive use of the pool cabana and tables and chairs.
    • The pool will remain open to other homeowners during the party.
    • Anyone who reserves the pool for a party is responsible for cleanup of the deck, tables and restrooms.
    • If you fail to contact Cindy and pay the deposit you will not be guaranteed a space for your party and you will still be responsible for clean-up.

POOL RULES

  1. Entering pool area represents consent for release of Liability.
  2. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible care provider 16 years of age or older. Neither NFHA nor the Pool Management Company will be held responsible for minors left alone at the pool.
  3. Food and beverages are permitted and must be kept at least 4 feet from the pool.
  4. Alcoholic beverages are allowed as long as consumed in plastic cups.
  5. Place all trash in a receptacle prior to leaving the area
  6. No glass containers allowed in the pool area
  7. Be courteous and respectful of others. Profanity, boisterous or rough play or any behavior that may be offensive to other patrons will not be tolerated
  8. No running.
  9. No dogs or pets will be allowed in the pool area
  10. All swimmers under the age of 18 must be at least two (2) feet away from the pool during the adult swim.
  11. Any child under the age of (3) three is required to wear a swim diaper in the pool.
  12. No skating or skateboarding allowed in the pool area.
  13. Bicycles must be parked in racks.
  14. Cutoffs and other non-swimming apparel are prohibited in the pool.
  15. Smoking permitted only in SW corner of pool deck and must be kept at least 2 feet from pool edge. Be considerate of others, use ashtrays.

In compliance with Kansas State Law, no one under the age of 21 is allowed to consume alcoholic beverages.
